I am a queer doula, and my doula philosophy is guided by respect and dignity. I support your right to make decisions about your body, your right to informed consent and informed refusal, your right to ask questions and change your mind, and your right to receive respectful care that is free from discrimination. My doula superpower is knowing birth from both roles: I've given birth, and I've supported my wife through giving birth.
