As a babywearing educator certified with the Center for Babywearing Studies, I meet parents and caregivers where they are as they explore the beautiful world of wearing their babies. I help clients have the confidence to choose and use baby carriers so they can make the most of their babywearing journey, whether they want to snuggle as their baby falls asleep, babywear during a big trip, or simply get more done during the day. Babies love being carried, and it is amazing how safe, supportive, and comfortable babywearing can be with proper technique and the right carriers for you and your baby.

Babywearing Education

“I knew I wanted to babywear, but the wraps I purchased when pregnant just did not work for us. I then bought 3 different carriers recommended by friends, and they also didn't work. Meghan brought a bunch of options to my house and we practiced using them with my 5 month old. I found one that is PERFECT for us. Such a good time investment."

"I wish I had met her sooner"

"Review #2 goes right here. Vice paleo bitters before they sold out, single-origin coffee marfa subway dollar toast iceland. Mlkshk,  tousled flannel celiac pork belly roof party. Poke vexillologist vaporware."

"I tripled my sales using your method!"

"To add more reviews, just duplicate this canvas view and swap out the text and photo. Vice paleo bitters before they sold out, single-origin coffee marfa subway tile tilde activated."

"Working with you was a dream. Thank you!!"

Babies expect to be held, and how you carry them can have a profound impact on your postpartum and parenting journey. Through private babywearing consultations I visit families in their home or virtually for personalized, supportive babywearing education and advice.

Private Babywearing Consultations

I teach two group classes on a quarterly basis, Babywearing 101 (geared towards those expecting) and Babywearing beyond Newborns (geared towards those with babies and toddlers 2-3 months and beyond).

Taught in an intimate small-group setting, these classes offer families the opportunity to learn safe and comfortable babywearing. A hands-on workshop component supports students to see, feel, and practice wearing babies in community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are private consultations for?

Private consultations can be helpful at various stages of your parenting journey. Prenatally, we can examine the different types of carriers, identify ones that you're drawn to, and practice a bit. It's a great way to learn what to purchase or put on registry that will actually work for your body. Many of my private consultations take place in the first six weeks postpartum, and focus on carrier troubleshooting, safety and comfort. Three-four months post birth can be another great time to check in, as caretakers adjust to baby growing heavier and starting to explore the world. Around 6 months and beyond, families are often interested in exploring carrying on the back and other supportive options for moving forward into toddlerhood.

What is included in the consultation?

  • A private, one hour meeting for you and up to two additional caregivers in your home or virtually
  • Sessions can include fit checks with carriers you already own, demonstrations of styles you'd like to explore, and hands-on practice with a demo doll or with your baby
  • One 15-minute virtual follow-up call for you to go over issues that come up as you babywear
  • Access to exclusive coupon codes for a variety of babywearing companies

What carrier types do you have? What brands?

I have a large collection of stretchy wraps, woven wraps, ring slings, meh dais, onbuhimos, half buckles, and soft structured carriers. My library is growing regularly, but current brands include: Lenny Lamb, Didymos, Ergobaby, Maya Wrap, Happy Baby, Hope and Plum, Gojiberry, Lille Baby, Beco, Girasol, Tula, Loveheld, Sakura Bloom, Nalakai, Wildbird, Solly Baby, Moby, Boba, Tuck and Bundle, Baby K'Tan, and Baby Bjorn.

How much does this support cost?

Private babywearing consultations are a $90 investment.

Babywearing has been shown to have a positive impact on early parenting in terms of bonding, stress levels, pelvic floor health, and lactation. Unfortunately, most insurances do not cover this type of support. Discounts are available for those who have attended a class or booked with me before.
Babywearing can bring ease, closeness, and confidence to your early parenting journey. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to choose the right carrier for your family and gain the confidence you need to begin using it safely and comfortably. This class is ideal for prenatal folks (babywearing is one of the few early parenting tools you can easily practice before your baby arrives!). It’s also perfect for newly postpartum families who haven’t chosen a carrier yet or simply want guidance on best practices and troubleshooting.

Topics covered include:
  • Babywearing benefits
  • Newborn safety
  • Positioning and comfort (for both baby and you!)
  • Demonstrations of each major wrap, sling, and carrier type, with pros/cons to help you choose what fits your needs, budget, and lifestyle
  • Hands-on practice with demo dolls so you can try carriers and build skills
